i originally figured to put it in good cover
a. because it made it harder to locate
b. so you are covered when you plant it
but i am stupid lol |

you place it so that you can cover it easily, not the other way around. NEVER give the defuser unnecessary cover. If you dont know where to put it, plant in the middle of the site, in the open. Actually i have read the article, i just know more plants than he does |

Well the author probably made the really obvious planting positions, rather than all the ones. I guess he wants you to find other bomb positions yourself.
I agree quite completely with Conor. It is normally kind of logical to place it in the open, but most newbs don't do anything right when they plant the bomb.
Its just sad. Thank god their is us, who know how to properly plant it. |

well, i was going to post defuse/cover positions as their are none in the guide. Most of thse positions are the best anyway, though there are some sneaky ones. ;) |

I am guessing that you crouch when you defuse, but it does give you a easier reception of a pleasant headshot. But still, better cover. |
